Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

FeelAR ("we", "us", "our") operates the FeelAR platform at FeelAR.app and the FeelAR iOS App Clip. We provide web-based augmented reality experiences triggered by NFC tags, QR codes, and image tracking.

2. Information We Collect

AR Experience Users

When you scan a QR code, tap an NFC tag, or visit an AR experience URL, we collect:

  • The trigger source (NFC, QR code, or direct URL) — recorded anonymously
  • Your browser user agent string
  • The date and time of your visit

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. We do not use cookies for AR experience users.

Camera Access

AR experiences require camera access to recognize trigger images. Your camera feed is processed entirely on your device — it is never transmitted to our servers.

Platform Clients

If you create a FeelAR client account, we collect:

  • Your business name
  • Your email address (for account notifications)
  • A password you create (stored as plaintext — choose a unique password not used elsewhere)
  • Any logo or media files you upload

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver AR experiences to end users
  • To provide scan analytics to the client who owns the experience
  • To send milestone notification emails to clients who opt in
  • To authenticate client portal sessions

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage

Data is stored in the United States using Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Amazon Web Services S3. Uploaded media files (trigger images, videos) are stored in AWS S3.

5. Data Retention

Scan records are retained indefinitely for analytics purposes. Client accounts and associated data are retained until the account is deleted. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

  • Vercel — hosts the FeelAR web platform
  • Supabase — database
  • Amazon Web Services — media file storage
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

Each service has its own privacy policy and data processing terms.

7. Children's Privacy

FeelAR is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@feelar.app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of FeelAR after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
